We all love milling around the Whole Foods fresh produce and cheese sections, but this couple is, like, next-level obsessed. In fact, instead of walking down a traditional ceremony aisle, this couple walked down the grocery store aisle to say their I do's. Wedding on aisle five!
Exactly a year after Ross Aronson popped the question to his fiancГ©, Jacqueline, in the flower department at their local Whole Foods Market, the two tied the knot at the same grocery store in a very interesting and oh-so-wholesome ceremony. The two chose the grocery store chain for their February 24 nuptials as it was near and dear to their love story, making their big day certainly an unique one.
“We loved the idea of having an important life milestone happen in a place we constantly go,” Jacqueline simply explained to TODAY Food.Digital Spark Weddings Digital Spark Weddings
When the Aronsons were living in New York City before their marriage, they would often spend time perusing the organic food aisles, finding ingredients together. (Ross loves to cook elaborate gourmet meals with Jacqueline.) When the two moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, they continued their Whole Foods obsession, eventually choosing it as the venue for their wedding.
On February 24, 2017, the groom coordinated with Whole Foods to create a customized walk through in the store, where afterwards he popped the question.Digital Spark Weddings Digital Spark Weddings
And then one year later to the very day, Chapel Hill Whole Foods helped make the couple's "crazy idea" of a grocery store wedding come true. Unsurprisingly, it was a first for the staff at the store, as they hung punny signs throughout the location that included “dairy-tale wedding,” “cantaloupe anymore,” “rib-eye do,” and “joined in holy mackerel-mony.” Manager Gonzalo Munoz even helped guide the guests through the rows of organic produce and grass-fed meats to perfectly orchestrate the affair. “It was one of those crazy things that just happened,” Munoz said. “We just ran with it.” In addition, photography company Digital Spark Weddings captured the couple's one-of-a-kind nuptials in some pretty stunning shots.Digital Spark Weddings Digital Spark Weddings

Following the ceremony, guests joined the couple at their Chapel Hill house for a home-cooked meal by Ross, who bought the ingredients from-you guessed it-Whole Foods.
Congrats to the newlyweds! We hope they live happily-and healthily-ever after.
